FAQs

Is it really for any ability?
Yes, the sessions are based predominantly on time, so no matter how fast you are everyone ‘works’ for the same amount of time.
What if I can’t make all the sessions?
You’ll get the most out of Summer Fell Training if you attend all the sessions. They’re designed to make you a ‘complete’ runner. Unfortunately, we cannot refund single sessions.
Do I need a head torch?
There will be a handful of head torches to borrow however not enough for everyone so please bring your own. If you need a head torch please get in touch.
What should I bring?
Please come prepared for the weather on the evening. If it's raining and cold then a waterproof top and some thermals layers are essential as well as change of clothes for putting on after. Alternatively, if it's warm please bring water, a suncap and wear suncream.
What shoes should I wear on my feet?
Please wear trail or fell running shoes. The sessions will be on grass, rocks and uneven terrain where these shoes make big difference to your safety. They'll also help your confidence.
Who do I need to contact if I need to speak to someone?
The two points of contact are David Taylor at Fell Running Guide and Steve Franklin at Front Runner.
